Dr Megan Whitty holds a PhD in Public Health research from Charles Darwin University (2017) and completed her BA (Hons.) in Anthropology at the University of Melbourne (2006). Megan is an experienced research officer currently working at the ANU Centre for Social Research and Methods as a member of the Centre for Gambling Research team. She has a broad range of project management and qualitative research experience gained from past positions with Menzies School of Health Research in the Preventable and Chronic Diseases Division. Her research interests lie in the area of Public Health, particularly in relation to Indigenous health, program evaluation, implementation science, gambling and behavioural addiction research.
