Giverney Ainscough is convener of CRIM3005 Diversity and Crime: Equality in the Criminal Justice System, and co-convener of CRIM2009 Corruption in the World. She is a doctoral candidate in the Centre for Social Research and Methods, and administrator of the Transnational Research Institute on Corruption. Giverney’s background is in sociology of health and illness, disability, and inclusive education, and holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in sociology and a Master of Social Research (Advanced). She has also tutored for many of the criminology undergraduate courses, held roles in journal administration, and lectured on the topics of inclusive education, ethics in ethnographic research, and corruption in the education sector. Giverney has research interests in corruption and integrity, and disability and queer criminology.
