Michelle is a Senior Research Officer at the Centre for Social Research and Methods. She is currently working on an ARC funded project investigating the use of post-separation parenting apps. She has a Bachelor of Arts, a Graduate Diploma in Psychological Studies and a Master of Social Research from the Australian National University.
Prior to coming to CSRM Michelle worked for many years as a research consultant in the private sector, focussing on social and cultural issues within the military. She has held research and project positions at various institutions including the University of California San Francisco, the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development and in the ANU’s Centre for Research on Ageing Health and Wellbeing. Prior to embarking on a career in research Michelle worked as a crisis support worker in the area
