Transnational Research Institute on Corruption
The Transnational Research Institute on Corruption (TRIC) was established in 2010 as a cross disciplinary Centre to bring together the Australian National University's expertise in the study of corruption. Its focus is policy relevant research related to public policy, development, foreign bribery and corruption in the private sector. TRIC has also developed a teaching capacity in corruption and corruption prevention, and undertaken technical assistance to international, federal and state authorities.
In 2024, TRIC is restructuring to broaden its network. A series of nodes and thematic programs based in other Australian universities will complement and strengthen our capacity to link research and practice. The Australian National University will continue to host the hub of TRIC through the support of POLIS: The Centre for Social Policy and Research.
